No Climate Summit For You!

Climate change activist Greta Thunberg joined protestors on the streets outside the U.N. climate conference in Glasgow this week. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. Thunberg – who was not invited to speak to world leaders – is none the less having her voice heard. Her message is a bit muddled.

“No more exploitation of people, and nature, and the planet. No more exploitation. No more blah, blah, blah. No more whatever the f*ck they are doing inside there. (Crowd cheers. Crowd chants with Gretta). No more blah, blah, blah. No more blah, blah, blah. No more blah, blah, blah.”

Thunberg told the BBC she thought the summit organizers had not invited a lot of young speakers because they – quote - might be scared that if they invite too many ‘radical’ young people that might make them look bad,” she said, using air quotations. Or maybe they just didn’t feel the need to be lectured by eighteen-year olds who don’t have a clue.
