A break in the rain. The flood waters are subsiding. Hoping it won't rise again.

A break in the rain affords Henry and I an opportunity to go outside. I feed the horses, extra big meals. The old horses have stopped shivering and there's a spot of sunlight.
I worked out how the brumbies move in and out of their hidey hole, but didn't have my phone on me to film it.
Henry wants to eat Arthur's meal as usual and barks at him. He also finds a special stick.
Arthur is dropping less food and I've worked out the optimal mash wetness to assist him eating. He also has two massive bowls. Oh he escaped from the paddock. The fences are a mess.
For the first time you can see our waterhole from this side of the creek.
I look at all the horses, discuss my videos, why I share them and the the rain forces Henry and I back inside.
I come inside and grab a leach off me.
After watching the video I can see Ruby, she is exactly where I thought she was in front of Paddy. Love my life. Love my horses and my non-horse pets (no bias there at all lol)
