Must be a week of dares is all we know since the Mayor dared us to make the longest segue we've ever attempted and we did that. Now he dared us to work in some classical music into a segue so we started with Gino Vannelli and then swung into Richard Wagner and just like that, today's Segue City Special defied and beat the dare... Oder wie sie sagen: "Es ist ein außergewöhnliches deutsches Gebäck für den Geist."

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
