Tracing the historical traces of "GOA ANTABOGA" Relics of the Majapahit Kingdom

Antabaga Cave site is located approximately 3.5 Km from Tambak Time Hamlet and is at an altitude of 1,300m. This site is in the form of a small niche in the wall of a rock hill which the community calls a cave. This site is named Antaboga because pilgrims who perform the ritual "man" on this site are said to be met by a snake god named Antaboga. On the basis of this understanding, now at the mouth of the cave a ladder (trap) is built with ornaments of snake skin scales. According to legend Antaboga is a god in the form of a snake who has the task of supporting the earth. This god is considered the ruler of the underworld.
