A Courageous Leader Standing For What is Good & Right: Felicity Joy Solomon

Felicity Joy Solomon, PhD, is the mother of two young adults, Christian and Michaela, whom she lives with (for the last year) in Shorewood, IL. She’s been a life coach and talk show host for fifteen years. She currently hosts two podcasts, Black. Conservative. Female and Simply Felicity can be found on Facebook, YouTube, and Roku (Creative Motion Network). She realizes God has been preparing her for this moment. Ordained in ministry in 2020 she has been blending her faith and politics while serving the community in Celebrate Recovery, local evangelism, and pastoring her own house church, Family Church. Her run for State Senate was inspired by the formation of the Kingdom Conservative Party. She is a visionary that believes that KCP is the wave of the future as political figures will come to understand the increased need for accountability in the government of the people, by the people, and for the people. She is excited to fight corruption in Illinois politics, starting with the exorbitant salary of its representatives (top three salaries in the nation!) Felicity Joy is also passionate about criminal justice reform, understanding that mass incarceration took place throughout the course of her lifetime. Using the KCP platform she would like to see it eradicated in her lifetime as well.
Her scripture basis for running for office is Proverbs 29:2 "When the righteous are in authority, the people REJOICE." May there be Joy in Illinois once again.
