Herd Immunity, What is .. 03-16-21

Herd Immunity according to the CDC is a situation in which a sufficient proportion of a population is immune to an infectious disease .. Herd immunity is also described by various sources such as W.H.O., N.I.H., A.P.I.C., WIKIPEDIA, J.H.S.P.H, and WEBMD as briefly shown in this presentation. Currently, pubic data show that we have 00.03% of the world population die (categorized as covid related deaths), and 1.5% of the world population of covid 'cases'. With this, 99.97% seem to be in the 'ok' category, or 'immune' possibly .. After well over a year of covid presence since 2020, death % is at 00.03% of the population. And, data suggest we see 98.5% of the population as 'not of covid'; Webmd.com noted 80% of the 1.5% world covid cases are mild illness cases. Thus we might surmise that 98.5% do not have covid nor die from covid. We might venture to think that 98.5% are immune. We might also think that those 80%-of-the-1.5% world cases being mild illnesses would be part of the to be or already immune as well. Quite a small %!
