The latest tragedy to strike our nation was compounded by the lack of action from those entrusted to protect the people. Uvalde police officers supposedly went in, got shot at, and ran away like Monty Python's King Arthur, though there was nothing funny about their cowardice.
They then stood around for 60 minutes while children were being slaughtered, waiting for real men to show up and do their job for them. While they stopped other parents from saving their children, these fine examples of what NOT to do apparently had no problem taking their own kids out of danger.
Any way you cut it, these officers failed. They can make all the excuses they want. They FAILED.
