Crane Creek & Yellow Jacket Falls, SC -- 4K Cinematic

I went on this hike with a small friend group of fellow hikers, Lindsay, Leslie, Josh & David. It was on a very foggy morning and the Cheoee Valley had an awesome inversion. Even at 2pm, the inversion was still hanging around. It made for a very comfortable, cool, but eerie hike. I only do a handful of bushwhacks a year, and film even less of them. These two amazing falls are ones that I would hate to see disappear into the hands of time, simply because people forgot about them.

Disclaimer: This hike is NOT on a trail, it is a backcountry bushwhack. There is NO TRAIL. I would suggest you are able-bodied, fit, can read a map, have a good sense of direction, and go with a hiking buddy. This is only a short 1.3 mile RT, but it's through thick Rhodedendrums, trees, and other underbrush. There are a few steep hills and after rain, it's very muddy, so please exercise extreme caution. This is a "know your limits" hike. THIS HIKE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. Also, bring a hiking rope to help get up some of the steeper ascents.
