Charles St. George designed the Australian Leader Dynamics T2 Mk5 rifle to replace the L1A1 SLR rifles in use by the Australian military. The Leader T2 Mk5 was a stamped rifle heavily based on earlier designs such as the Armalite AR18 and Winchester Model 100. The Leader Dynamics T2 Mk5 would be a military and commercial failure but the design had much promise if it could have been further developed.
