Artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces carry out tasks to defeat firing positions of artillery and anti-aircraft missile systems of the AFU, strongholds, command posts and areas of concentration of Ukrainian military equipment.

Target reconnaissance and targeting of artillery mounts is carried out during the day and at night using Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles.
