Alki Point, Seattle, Washington

Alki Point, Alki Beach is the birthplace of Seattle. The Denny party dropped anchor at Alki in 1851. It was initially called New York but in 1853 changed to a Native American term, Alki meaning "By and By". Alki Point offers a Coast Guard Lighthouse, Alki Beach with a host of restaurants.
