Out with the Old, In with the New Life with Christ pt 4

Paul once again addresses the church as individuals and a community. He concludes his exhortation to the Colossian church which he started in chapter 2. Paul is guiding us to put the peace of God in our hearts. We are not to just put it there, it should permeate through us and be the ruling arbiter for all that we do. Paul addresses the message of who Christ is, not focusing on the message from Christ. There is a big difference in the two. Whatever we do in life, we should do it in the name of the Lord Jesus which will glorify God. We should always show thanks to the Lord for filling us with the His love in all that we do.
