Tempting Love on the Rocks

Neil Diamond and Jacob Moon are the components for today's Segue City Special as we stumble over the rocks to get to Tuesday. The Squeeze's signature song "Tempted" gets a workout from Jacob Moon who puts his own flourishes on it. Okay, two down and three to go and we will have fulfilled the Mayor's wishes for this week of mysterious segues. We feel like we're hiding in plain sight, but from what?

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
