Cop Short-Circuits When He Hears The Truth: Zero-Integrity Officer Can't Think, But Has Badge-&-Gun

Even though one wants to avoid making claims and answering questions it's important for constitutional compliance auditors to develop effective and truthful statements of purpose, as they will be asked about it by nearly everyone they encounter and will inevitably offer a reply.

Here are some I've heard used effectively:
1. I'm a journalist doing a story about public interests.
2. I'm creating an objective record about public interests for public review.
3. I'm free-press documenting matters of public interest for publication.
4. I'm press doing a story about ethics in public service.
5. I'm recording matters of public interest for publication.
...
(and many other variations)

These honest responses tell the questioner what your doing, why your doing it, and who you're doing it for, without offering many other details, thus keeping the integrity of the "test" intact. They also utilizes the "public interest" language present in relevant case law.
