CHP plane chases a vehicle from a sideshow

This evening, CHP Air-31 responded with CHP ground units to a reported "sideshow" on the Pomona off ramp from I-80. CHP Airplane 31 located the sideshow and started documenting the participants.
When one of the participants left the area CHP ground units attempted to stop the vehicle and a pursuit occured. Air-31 followed from above until the suspect fled on foot in the City of Oakland. The diver was arrested with the assistance of the Oakland Police Department.
The California Highway Patrol will be investigating this incident with additional arrests possible.
