Wagyu Picanha Over an Open Flame

First off, it's Memorial Day. Please take a moment out of your day to appreciate those that make days like today possible. That make every day possible. And especially those that gave everything they had and did not have the opportunity to return and share these days with us.

Thank you to the friends and family and neighbors of those that have lost somebody wearing our Country's uniform.

That being said... Oh. My God. Where has picanha been all my life?

Was it the best bite I've ever had? Maybe.

I think there's a category for many different cuts, and this cut was simply amazing. So much beef flavor, it's difficult to describe other than it tasted like you had bit into a bouillon cube, similar to a filet mignon. The most tender and flavorful bite I've had in a long time... and I eat a lot of great BBQ.

Everybody at the party was stunned. I'm not even kidding.

We're doing this again.
