Today the UK database apprehended Gareth Evans , 43 of Taunton leading to his arrest. He is now in police custody
Evans was sending sexually explicit messages to at least 14 'girls' as young as 10-years-old from various teams across the UK including several decoys from the team IOPz Intercepting Online Predators
It has since transpired that Evans has added many girls as young as eight as friends on Facebook.
During his online chats, Evans sent videos of himself masturbating, and would become very aggresive in the messages he sent, saying that he would hunt the girls down and attack them
Evans did not give our hunters a reason why he wanted to speak sexually to young girls, but it is clear that he intended to groom them for sexual activity. He also showed absolutely no remorse for his actions and was more concerned about himself.
Further intel has revealed that a family member of Evans was also convicted of child sexual offences back in 2010.
