Who is Really Denying our Social Security Disability Claims? MUST SEE!

Today, I'd like to tell you about a little known process of social security disability...

When you file for Social Security disability benefits, your claim will be assigned to a disability adjudicator. Adjudicators are NOT judges and they have limited authority to make decisions.

Adjudicators are kind of like insurance claims adjustors - if an issue in your case exceeds their authority, they stamp “denied” on the file and send it to the next level.

As I discuss in this video, adjudicators deny claims because they simply did not receive all of the evidence! You would be surprised to learn that many disability applications contain misspelled doctors’ names, or incorrect mailing addresses for medical records.

Adjudicators are busy and they do not have the time to track down your doctors - you will greatly improve your chances at an early win if you spend the time verifying both the spelling of your doctors’ names and the mailing address for medical records.

Adjudicators also deny claims if the medical record does not clearly point to a listing level impairment! Your case may not meet a listing but you may still be disabled because the combined effect of your medical issues leaves you without the capacity for work.

Under SSA’s decision making system, however, the SSA administrative law judge will make a decision based on the combined effect of multiple medical conditions.

You may very well have a winning case but still get denied at the initial application and reconsideration stage of your claim. If you are denied, do not give up - reach out to a lawyer like myself for advice about appealing the denial to keep your case alive.
