We GOT RE-ENGAGED!...to the UN Human Rights Council

President Joe Biden has re-engaged with the United Nations Human Rights Council. Some of the world's worst human rights violators sit on the UN Human Rights Council, like the Chinese Communist Party. The Trump Administration and UN ambassador Nikki Haley withdrew from the council in 2018. But the Biden Cabinet Secretary of State Antony Blinken says this was the right decision and sets the tone for Biden China relations. It comes as President Biden had a two hour long phone call with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
