6 Albums in 6 Minutes Contest (ENDS 3/12/21) | Vinyl Community

Time for me to have my first contest. In celebration of hitting 600 subscribers, let's do a contest revolving around the number six. I failed to say it in the video, but the last day for submitting an entry is Friday, 3/12/21. So that is one month away. Around Saturday 3/13/21 I will gather all names and have the drawing either Sat. or Sunday of that week.

I'm thinking of having 2 or 3 winners, we'll see how it goes and how many entries are submitted. First place winner will submit their choice, 2nd place winner will submit two choices, and if we have a third winner, they will submit three options - in case their first choices are taken by prior winners.

Rules:
1. Must be a subscriber to my channel
2. Must make a video entry (comment on this video that you have made one) - feel free to use #6albums6minutes if you want to better identify it too.
3. Entry must be posted by end of day Friday March 12, 2021.
4. Video entry must be under 6 minutes in length.

Six albums in 6 minutes based on three questions.

1. Oldest/Youngest: An album containing either the oldest recorded music in your collection (regardless of when the recording was issued), or the oldest date issued album in your collection; and then the most recent release. Preferably a brand new band, but can be the brand new release by a band - something new and hot!

2. First/Last Release - A band with a catalog containing at least 6 studios albums total, show me their first and latest release.

3. Two Extreme - two albums that are at totally different extremes of the musical spectrum, and why you appreciate each extreme.
