A Faithful Look at Ukraine

Anyone who says they do not want to provoke Putin because they're afraid of what he might do is naive and does not understand Evil. Evil does not need provocation it does not need an invitation. Evil does what Evil wants to do and Evil does what it's going to do no matter what anybody does or doesn’t do. That is the insidious nature of Evil. That is the true nature of Evil.

Abraham Lincoln said that if you look at a river, a river is always crooked because a river always follows the line of least resistance. Evil, like a river will always follow the line of least resistance. That is why we need to stand up to evil and create resistance anywhere and everywhere we see it.

As Edmund Burke said all that is required for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

So far our (US) government’s response to the invasion and destruction in Ukraine is like the man who is drowning 100 feet from shore and someone throws him a 60 foot rope and says, well I met you more than halfway.

There should be no joy and no contentment in meeting someone more than halfway when lives are at stake and women and children are being murdered.

We pray and ask God for a miracle in the Ukraine. Some have called this David versus Goliath. I will remind everyone that David beat Goliath and went on to become the second King of Israel. There is reason for hope with our God of Miracles.

Una mirada fiel a Ucrania

Cualquiera que diga que no quiere provocar a Putin porque tiene miedo de lo que pueda hacer es ingenuo y no entiende el Mal. El mal no necesita provocación, no necesita invitación. El mal hace lo que el mal quiere hacer y el mal hace lo que va a hacer sin importar lo que alguien haga o deje de hacer. Esa es la naturaleza insidiosa del Mal. Esa es la verdadera naturaleza del Mal.

Abraham Lincoln dijo que si miras un río, un río siempre está torcido porque un río siempre sigue la línea de menor resistencia. El mal, como un río, siempre seguirá la línea de menor resistencia. Es por eso que debemos hacer frente al mal y crear resistencia en cualquier lugar y lugar donde lo veamos.

Como dijo Edmund Burke todo lo que se requiere para el triunfo del mal es que los hombres buenos no hagan nada.

Hasta ahora, la respuesta de nuestro gobierno (EE. UU.) a la invasión y destrucción en Ucrania es como el hombre que se está ahogando a 100 pies de la costa y alguien le arroja una cuerda de 60 pies y dice: bueno, te conocí a más de la mitad del camino.

No debería haber alegría ni satisfacción en conocer a alguien a más de la mitad del camino cuando hay vidas en juego y mujeres y niños están siendo asesinados.

Oramos y pedimos a Dios un milagro en Ucrania. Algunos han llamado a esto David contra Goliat. Les recordaré a todos que David venció a Goliat y se convirtió en el segundo Rey de Israel. Hay motivo para la esperanza con nuestro Dios de los Milagros.
