Britain confirmed that it will provide Ukraine with the M270 MLRS

British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said the move was "closely coordinated" with the US decision to provide Ukraine with the HIMARS system. The heavy GMLRS, unlike the HIMARS, is mounted on a tracked chassis, which is unified with the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle. At the same time, the GMRLS carries two blocks of ammunition, each of which has either 6 227-mm guides, or one for ATACMS ammunition. According to The Military Balance, the UK, as of 2016, had 35 such complexes.
