N scale Christmas Story house Part 1

( CORRECTION: The hole in the roof is for the electric meter mast, but I wasn't thinking of that and put it to under ground) Most of you have heard about or seen the movie Christmas story. it was released in 1983, and I had not seen it till 1990 when I was in the military and I rented it on VHS from a mom and pop video store in Kentucky, and ever since I been hooked. I met my wife in 1993 and introduced her to it and we watch it every year and sometimes twice. I have been to the movie location in Cleveland Ohio. it is a great place to visit, if you are a fan you must go check it out. so once I seen there is an actual model of the house, it was a must have for my layout.
This is an absolutely amazing 3d printed N scale kit, I have not done one before this one but if they are all this good I'll keep buying them. This is part 1 to introduce the events leading up to this build, and to introduce you to golden gate hobby and this wonderful model.

The Christmas story house and museum in Cleveland, Ohio is open year round m-f 10 to 5 except most holidays and 2 weeks in February for maintenance. you can check it out and all they have to offer at there website.
