The Rich Man & Lazarus

In one of the most sobering parables in all the gospels, Jesus tells us of a rich man who went to hell and of the conversations between him and Father Abraham. As well as a beggar named Lazarus who was ushered by the angels into Abraham's bosom where he found comfort, rest, and blessings. One thing is certain; there is a finality in death and in the transition into eternity. Whether it be in the comfort of paradise or it be in the torment of hell, there is no 2nd chance to get it right or to cross from one place to the next. It's permanent and it will never change.
