"I have been a pediatrician for 25 years and I have seen the state of our children not do well, and I set out on a journey to figure out why. And when I did this I realized that it wasn't immunizations. It wasn't fluoride. It wasn't even as much of the environment as you and I have been led to believe. It wasn't lack of money. It wasn't even necessarily our public education system that is truly failing us. It was the fact that moms have been un-empowered. We have forgotten that as moms, we are the true nucleus of society."
