Engraving Water Bottles, How-To

For the beginner, in CO2 lasers, this video is a quick walk through of the steps needed to engrave a Polar Camel water bottle. These steps are the same for any power-coated bottle or tumbler, regardless of the brand. The software used is, Lightburn.

Using a 50 watt, Chinese CO2 laser, to engrave a Polar Camel water bottle.

1. Tighten the cap as tight as you can get it.
2. Mark the center line with a small piece of tape.
3. Place a rubber band around the top and bottom to provide friction between the bottle and rollers
4. Adjust the settings and place the bottle on the roller, lining up the center line.
5 Engrave.
6. Wash off the residue with a Magic Eraser and Dawn dish soap.
