Ys IX Monstrum Nox Review

Ys IX Monstrum Nox is the 10th canonical entry in Nihon Falcom’s long running franchise. Ys IX catalogs Adol’s adventures through the city of Balduq, a giant city known for its maze like prison. Ys IX is an exciting entry in the series. Can I start with Ys IX? Most certainly and I recommend it. Its a great entry introducing a lot of the lore from previous games, in a very digestible way to not overwhelm the player. Ys IX is also the fourth game in the franchise to use that party based combat that was established in Ys Seven.
