Welcome to Chef Grace's Place. Grace is classically trained in French Pastry. She graduated Salutatorian of her class from The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA with a Bachelors Degree in the Science of Pastry Arts. She then worked at many fine dining establishments honing her skills in Philadelphia and New York. After working in the industry for a number of years she realized she would never make enough money to open her own place (Grace's Place) working for someone else and she might as well find a job that was more fun. It got depressing creating someone else's dream everyday.
She asked herself "How do I live like Anthony Bourdain (RIP), without needing a book or a tv show?" The answer she came up with, "flight attendant".
After applying to many airlines she got a job with Norwegian Airlines and ate her way around the world. It paid less then she thought it would so, to earn money on the side she also started teaching pastry. Then the pandemic happened and it all stopped; but she didn't and that's how this YouTube Channel that you are watching right now got started.
