Trying out Captain America & The Avengers on Project Nested w/ SNES9X

Okay, so here's one that kinda bugs me in regards to reporting.

On my first attempt at playing this (To generate the SRAM file), I made it to New York before I hit a WRAM crash.

But when I loaded the the SRAM into my profile, it seemed like the game actually started performing worse, rather than better, and crashing more frequently. I couldn't even get into a Red Alert encounter without a crash. What's up with that?
