US-backed opposition leader and billionaire Thanathorn has attacked the Thai government's response to COVID-19 and its hesitation to rush into a vaccine campaign.

He also attacked Siam Bioscience for not being profitable - despite its mission statement being to make affordable medication available to the Thai people - not to make huge profits.

I explain how despite the Western media claiming Thanathorn is the "Billionaire Commoner," he is actually an out-of-touch billionaire trying to rush Thailand into buying up untested and potentially dangerous vaccines from Western pharmaceutical giants.
