Why is the Church so ineffective?

Have we lost our way? Why are churches so ineffective? Cannot sway policies, no longer in charge of the government, morals or their own directions. No one cares what the Christian communities thinks about anything. Our voices are weak with no effect and our views are compromised to make the ungodly comfortable.
