During Christmas Break in 2017.
I cut a hole in the side of my 2006 Freightliner Coronado. And plugged in an APU (Aux Power Unit)

I am a true independant trucker. I do 90% of my own repairs and maint. Tire repair. Etc.

At 5pm on Christmas day My wife came outside and said are you coming in for x-mas dinner? I said as soon as this thing is up and running. I pretty much worked on it from sun up till sundown 22-25th.

@ 7pm on Christmas day, the APU fired up and ran smoothly. Best Christmas EVER.!! And boy did that Christmas Dinner taste good.!!

This APU has been the best $4k investment. It is now Sunday June 5th 2022 and it is keeping me comfortable. As it has so many days out here on the road. Fuck Thermo King. They wanted $11, 900 to install an evolution apu in 2017. I did my own install for under $5k unit included.
