Burning a HUGE Brush Pile!

The brush pile in one of our livestock pastures keeps growing and it’s time for a burn.

We have over 2000 ft of fence around our farm and when we bought the property just about all of it was overgrown. We still have a long way to go to reclaim all the acreage but we are making good progress. We found a nice day with little wind, spritzed a little magic go-go juice on the pile, and set it off. There was a little more wood left after the burn than what I expected but it’ll be alright, we can do this again.

Our buddy John came over to help with the burn. John is also a pretty good cook and he took care of supper by smoking a few pork loins and a bologna roll on the grill. They turned out great!
