Where Are The Protests?

There has been a lot of talk about armed protests in each of the 50 states capitols, and I happen to be right next to a state capitol. Because of my proximity, I have decided to go have a look.

Unsurprisingly the streets are empty. No protesters seem to be anywhere on the streets. The only thing there seems to be is the occasional person here or there going about their normal every day business.

Seeing the empty streets, I began to think that maybe the protesters were not downtown, but over at the capitol building itself, so we head over there. Upon reaching the capitol we find nothing, not even a police cruiser. Everything is as quiet as it always is.

This makes me begin to think that the credible threat of armed protests the FBI has warned everyone about was highly exaggerated. Maybe a few people on Parler got together and started talking about doing such a thing, but never enough to actually pull something like this off. I just imagine five people talking each other up on social media, maybe even getting some support from comments, but never enough to actually do anything.
