00:15 - Organizing your calendar. We have 3 resources in life…time, money, and energy. How do we utilize each one when they are the strongest? We have more of each of those things at different times in our life, so how do we leverage each one at the right time? “Your calendar is an expression of your priorities.”

9:00 - “When you say no to something, you are saying yes to something else.”

14:55 - “We don’t see things the way they are, we see things the way we are.”

21:35 - “When emotions are high, intelligence is low.” This quote comes from Jon Berghoff, who has worked with Scott in the past with many coaching projects. We also talk about the coaching of Julianna Raye, who is a mindfulness coach.

25:15 - “Connect, don’t correct.” This has to do with parenting.

34:45 - The problem with the phrase “No Problem.” We talk about better ways to say You’re Welcome.

36:00 - How do you learn a lot about somebody in a short period of time? “What’s your favorite movie.”

45:05 - “If you’re going to bother thinking at all, think big.”

54:45- How long after the 2000 crash did it take you to recover? What was the mental process?
