The sahih (authentic) narrations of Mohammed are obligatory for Muslims to believe. They are explicit that Aisha was a child bride of 6 or 7, when Mohammed married her, and that she was playing on swings with dolls at 9, a prepubescent, when he consummated the marriage. All Mohammed's actions are sunnah, they are considered right, moral, legal in Islam.
Worse, Islamic Law (Sharia/fiqh) explicitly allows child marriage and divorce.
Can Muslims condemn child marriage and sex with a 9yr old? What does the fiqh, Islamic law, say about marriage to and sex with young girls and infants?
We will explore these questions via the Islamic scriptures and especially the Sharia marriage laws in this show with Shamoun Khaqan.
