Warzone's Pay to Win Weapon, I'm not surprised

Thanks to JGod, a Paid 2 Win weapon has been discovered in Warzone. The Mac-10 blueprint, Gallantry, is a paid weapon that has better stats than the base version. Was this a mistake, or is this something that we will see more often in Call of Duty?
