Display your collection of HOT SAUCE! |This project is FIRE! | 2021/004

I was recently commissioned to build a display shelf for a hot sauce collection. This project is HOT! The design is not original, in fact a user on Reddit posted a picture of the one he built for himself, this was the inspiration for my customer, and their project. I made it out of pine boards from the Home Depot, glued up a panel, cut out a flame silhouette, milled some shelves, glued and screwed them on, and stained the entire thing with Verathane Cognac wood stain, which has a nice brownish red tint to it. I finished it all off with three coats of Deft high gloss lacquer. It’s a little bit smaller than the original, but I have to take into consideration shipping the final product to the recipient, but it will still hold a couple dozen bottles of hot sauce, and I can always build another one as their collection grows!
