Happy New Year. Hello 2021! This week on 51/49, putting aside all the toxicity and drama, James weighs in on the aftermath of the vicious #ForceTheVote debate (first pushed by Jimmy Dore) amongst the progressive wing of the Democratic Party on whether or not "the Squad" aka Justice Democrats (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush, etc.) should've withheld their speakership vote for Nancy Pelosi in exchange for a bill on Medicare For All?

Spoiler alert: Nancy Pelosi is still Speaker of the House, and #MedicareForAll is still waiting on the sidelines.

Did the progressive Democrats #FraudSquad sellout, or are master tacticians strategizing behind closed doors? James draws from Canadian politics to explain that at its core, this issue is about leverage and taking the necessary risks to fight for a certain promised legislative policy.
