Candidate Bio.
I am a Conservative Christian Republican. I was born and raised in Northern California. I volunteered for the U.S. Marine Corps when I was 18 yrs. Old. I spent 13 months in Vietnam as a combat radio operator with Force Recon. I was a Drill Instructor in San Diego for the last two years.
In the late '70s, I was a Deputy Sheriff with the Yolo Co. Sheriff's Dept. for three years, then transferred to the Sacramento Police Department. I worked the midnight shift as a patrol officer for ten years, then retired from an on-the-job injury. After rehab, I was employed as a Court Security Officer at the Federal Courthouse in Sacramento, Calif., until I retired five years ago. For the past five years, I have become a certified gunsmith, and as a hobby, I fix and work on guns for my friends and family. I have volunteered for the Trauma Intervention Program in the Yuba
/Sutter area helping first responders on calls involving different types of trauma. I volunteered for the Sutter County Grand Jury for two years and was the Foreperson during the 2nd year.
My wife, Linda, and I have been married for 32 years and combined; we have three grown kids and three grandchildren. We have lived in Yuba City for the past 30 years.
My platform includes God, Country, and family. I believe that America should and must be governed according to our Constitution. None of the rights given to the American people by God or Our Constitution should be infringed upon.
I support An economy where people can prosper, Strong Law Enforcement and Military, Secure Borders, School Choices, and Pro-Life. Smaller Government, Term Limits, and Lower Taxes. I firmly believe that America should be Governed "For the People by the People."
