Whats Up That Dangerous Looking Shelf-Road In Joshua Tree - Helicross Mine Rd - Old Dale

What must be the 2nd-most scary and dangerous looking shelf-road in Joshua Tree / the Old Dale Mining District is Helicross Mine Road - about 1 mile from Gold Crown Road / Old Dale Road. Helicross Mine Rd is 1.8 miles long and rises about 600 feet above the basin. The road is extremely narrow, moderately rough and loose and is a 'shelf road' most of the way up. At the end is a large mine with barely enough room for 4 or 5 vehicles to turn around.
