A prologue to the Not Our Crimes subseries in which I build upon the feminist work of compiling a database of trans identified males that did any combination of the following:

• committed crimes which were officially recorded as ‘female’

• were allowed to house amongst female inmates in previously sex segregated spaces due to self identification laws

• officially changed their name and official documents upon release whereby taking on a female identity, as permitted by the state

• granted tax-payer funded cosmetic surgery while serving time in prison for a crime for which they were convicted

• changed their identity multiple times between male and female

• committed crimes against women while housed with females
