Aspire one up R1 Rechargeable Refillable Disposable

Today we take a look at the Aspire One Up R1 rechargeable, refillable disposable. The Aspire R1 has a rechargeable 650 mAh battery, 2ml capacity fixed pod and a 0.8 ohm coil. The fill port in the fixed pod is large and easy to fill but the black pod makes it hard to see when filling. Flavour from this coil is very good. Me personally I don't get at who this is aimed at or even why this was not made in to a normal pod system. After taking the trouble to fit a c-type charge port it seems a waste when the coil dies to just dispose of it. If you get the maximum of 8 refills this battery is still chargeable and doesn't solve the problem of disposing with this device in a safe way. The device comes fully charged. The light at the bottom stays lit while charging and turns off when fully charged. The device has the following protections, overtime, short circuit and low voltage.

All in all, I just don't get it, could have been a normal cheap pod kit. Not for me this one as it's neither a pod kit or true disposable but sits in a category of its own.
