June 5 2022: The Signs of an Apostle

1. The Call
• Apostolos; “One sent forth.”
• “Be with Him.”
• Jesus called them, they submitted, He appointed them power, they were to follow.

2. The Commissioning of the Twelve
• “Do not leave Jerusalem…” Yet
• Preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

3. The Biblical Qualifications of an Apostle
• Knowledge of the Gospel.
• Revelation by the Holy Spirit.
• Exemplify faithfulness to the Gospel
• “Seal of apostleship”
• Record of powerful moves of God.
• Maintain testimony is all circumstances.

4. Application
• Each person gets their own manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
• Learn in your spiritual gifts.
• Respond to Gods calling with a willingness to come to Him.
