It's easy to say "I'm a Christian," but when faced with dire consequences, will we hold fast to our faith? Daniel was faced with being devoured by a hungry lion yet he held fast to his faith. He trusted entirely in God and God delivered him.

Will God always deliver us from all harm? No, but he will use hardships to refine us. Just don't discount God's ability to deliver us from any and all harm. He always delivers us in one way or another. Believe and be saved.
