Luis Robles Elizastigui was protesting peacefully holding a sign that read: “Freedom, No+Dictatorship, #FreeDenis ( Denis Solis). This young man was inspired by #MovimientoSanIsidro and the effects of protests in front of the Ministry of Culture last November 27, that the forced break in of the Mov San Isidro headquarters by the regime, inspired. Luis Robles’ courage and empathy inspired him to protest for freedom by himself. According to his family, he is being interrogated and held in the infamous Villa Marista Prison since December 5th. This prison is known for the torture and atrocities by the communist regime against individuals. Luis is being charged with contempt and terrorism, for holding a cardboard sign.
