Jamaica's Johnny Nash gets mixed in with John Lennon and Harry Nilsson doing a song that Harry wrote that Ringo Starr had a hit with and just like that, the Segue City Special for today is crafted, shined up and sent off into the ether of the Internet... or something like that. The Mayor's work is done so he can close up the shop and settle in for the weekend. We'll be back tomorrow to tackle the upcoming week.

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
