Do you use "Who" vs "That" with Respect to Men and Women? Ignorance or Bias?

Do women objectify men as a 'that' or do they respect men as a 'who'. The ladies on this show claim it's not a bad intent when women call men a 'that'. The ladies in this clip attribute the disrespect by the women as them being ignorant of implications of calling men a 'that'. Also, how many times do you catch the media referring to people as a 'that'? Johnny Depp is the man that sued Amber Heard for defamation.
