On this Return to the Realm of the Breakfast Time Chats, Colleen and I will be having a discussion about Professor Tolkien's creation of the Argonath, and how this Incredible Structure built by the Numenoreans is the Perfect Symbol as the Front Line of Defense against ALL Foreign Invaders...

We will also be discussing how this Structure works, and why it can stop working, completely, and how the Choices, and thus, Energy of the Realm of Gondor determined its Relative Power...

The Argonath represented the Northern Border of Gondor, following the River of Life, The Anduin...and it was here, Long Ago, when Gondor as a Nation of Numenoreans, Loyal to God, held sway enormous Righteous Power upon Middle Earth, and lesser Men and Foul Creatures Feared even to Look upon the Kingly Faces of Old, those of Isildur (Moon) and his Brother, Anarion (Sun), the Children of Elendil, Elf-Friend, Loyal to God, and He who faced Sauron alone upon Mount Doom...

But as the Morality and Dignity of Gondor began to wane, so did the Power of the Argonath, and by the time of the Lord of the Rings, Orcs no longer featured this Passage, at all, and used it to track the Fellowship of the Ring as they left Lothlorien and proceeded upon their Sacred Quest...
