Peter Green (eng. Peter Green; real name Peter Allen Greenbaum, eng. Peter Allen Greenbaum; October 29, 1946, London — July 25, 2020, there) was a British blues-rock guitarist, founder of the band Fleetwood Mac. Prior to Fleetwood Mac, he briefly played in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers band. In the 1990s, he created his own project "Peter Green Splinter Group".

His guitar playing is characterized by a distinct vibrato and conciseness. Although he played different guitars, the most famous is the unique timbre of his 1959 Gibson Les Paul guitar.
